I need to alter a com port setting in Vista. On my xp machine its via device manager but on my Vista laptop there is no listing for Ports in this. I've been looking through other info online but all the bits I find keep saying that its via Device Manager, but its definitely not there on this lappy. Anyone got any hints or suggestions?

I found the problem - the audiometer I was having an issue with was in the trailer, while I was trying to get my lappy ready while in the hotel, (so it was ready before arriving on the customer's site). In Vista, if nothing is plugged into the USB ports there is no 'ports' option in Device Manager - hence I couldn't find it and set it up before-hand. Plug something in and it appears as if by magic. It just meant a panic 30 mins on site trying to get everything working rather than having it ready to go.
