Bought a JBL On Stage II iPod speaker thingy yesterday to try and make hotel rooms a little more bearable - bugger me its good. If you're after a mid-price (£60) set of speakers for an iPod (or other MP3 for the Tantards of this world) it sounds great. They do another at about £100 which can run on batteries.

Is it compatible with my iPhone? I'm looking either for a set of speakers to be located in the kitchen, or alternatively an FM transmitter thing to allow me to use the radio to listen to podcasts instead.

Isn't that what the adult channels are for?

According to the spec its compatible with all docking versions of the iPod except the shuffle. If it fits the iPod touch it should fit the iPhone. For the shuffle and other MP3 players it comes with a connection cable to make them work. I don't have an iPhone to try it but if it has a bottom docking port then it should be fine.

And Mr Puppy - yuo obviously don't stay in Premier Inns very often - no such thing as the naughty channels there Sad
