Hi
I'm getting a log-on screen asking for a password when I turn on my PC even though I've never had a password ( XP Pro) and when I turn off I get a drop-down menu with options instead of the three Turn Off and Restart buttons.
What have I done, and how do I put it back to how it was?

Have you tried to join a domain? Sounds like that.

You can check whether it's this or not by going CONTROL PANEL > SYSTEM > COMPUTER NAME. It will tell you there.
