Got one for Christmas but one thing about it is driving me nuts.

I can't for the life of me get the bugger not to reset the pic number each time I transfer a batch of pics.

Have set frames for continuous and renew but has made no difference.

Any ideas?

How are you transferring the files?

Pulling them straight through the usb connection using digikam.

Good point though, the camera isn't allowing a clean dismount of the filesystem! This could be it!

If I delete using the camera and take some more shots then no problem. If I delete using digikam them the problem reappears.

 banana

Now to sort it.

Just got digikam to append a consecutive number after the image filename. Sorted.

The camera is picked up by digikam on the usb but isn't being mounted in the usual way. Not sure how it's working actually.

I always found that the bundled or digital camera software borked things, I just tend to grab the file via the usual my computer > camera etc. smile
