Anybody know of a company that has the Nintendo Wii in stock?

I've got to try and find one.

There are at least two people at work that are also looking for one. At the moment - everyone is sold out

I've got one behind the sofa that I haven't touched in ~2 months.  unsure  Not mine, mind, it's the SIL's but she's not fussed.

Might get it out for some Wii Sports tonight.  wink1

It's not for me, I much prefer my Xbox360. It's my mother in law that wants one.

I like the concept but not the games.  It's a PS3 for me, once I get the cash.  Some stonking games coming out on that now and over the next year or so, plus these days it's only £25 more than the 360, is way more powerful, has a BD drive, etc, etc.

My nearest place sold out in that long, yeah.  Hundreds though - that is impressive, considering Game around here have been saying they won't see any before Christmas.

I used a Wii for the first-time last night, I think you'd struggle to use it on your own like the other consoles - it's so much better with a crowd of people, more of a social machine. Tried the Smarty Pants game and golf - utterly hilarious.

The dance bonus and tug of war part of the Smarty Pants game had everyone howling. My first attempted, and I was first both times.  buttrock

Matt,

You don't want to offer paypal and then collection. It's commonly used by scammer buyers.

1) they buy, and then pay via paypal
2) they come to collect
3) they then go home, and after 7 days, file a 'Item not received' report
4) Paypal won't give a dickey bird's, as you have no proof they collected it. Even if you get them to sign something, it's not 'independent' like the RM etc
5) You'll lose the money, and the only chance will be to get the police involved - and we know how that will end up.

If you are doing collection, I would say BACS (and wait till it's cleared) or cash only

I bought mine from amazon france monday last week, it arrived on monday this week - everything's the same except the plug which quickly got snipped off and swapped wink I believe the warranty covers all of europe too. You should be able to get one from france or germany - or anywhere else in europe for that matter ... there arent even any customs charges if ordered within the EU
