I'm looking at Crucials website for some SDRAM PC133, 168-Pin DIMM and 1GB is a mighty £173.89 inc. VAT. How come SDRAm is so expensive compared to other types, is it older or something?

If anyone has any they fancy getting rid of please let me know, preferably 2 x 1GB.

It's expensive because it is ancient and no one uses it any more. For that price you could upgrade the CPU, motherboard and memory and still have money left over.

Hmm, maybe worth thinking about then.

My brother had an old (not that old) Tiny pc with ME on it and i'd thought about upgrading the memroy and changing the OS on it to have it as a machine for playing a few games on and running my sites on. DOn't need anything that special, just a lot better than my laptop. I've seen some memory on Ebay which would cost about £20 in total so might be tempted by that.

Even though I work in the IT industry, when it comes to changing motherboards, processors etc I have little idea.
