PhoneJacker DVD arrived yesterday. Cheers Tanty.

was it still sealed up or had he watched it first?

Now you come to mention it, it wasnt sealed  unsure

ha ha typical.  I bet he'll mature into a tip scooper if he ever goes to a restaurant.

I bet he goes dumpster diving.

I bet he dries his tea bags out and uses them again and again

I bet he doesn't drink tea.

You're a flippin joke. Not only are you not man enough to make a proper apology, but you blame everyone except yourself and then send a used pressie.

Don't bother replying. I won't be reading it.

Er, sorry for bringing this thread back from the dead but I would like to take this opportunity (in the middle of March no-less!) to thank my Secret Santa for the rather excellent photography book that appeared at my old address while I was away on holiday.

Whoever it was it wasn't your fault, but I think I updated my Amazon wishlist a bit too close to Christmas and it went to my previous place. Unfortunately, my old housemates are German and they were also away for a while and I've not been able to get in there to retrieve until quite recently. A mixture of absent-mindedness and bad planning on my part.

So, sorry for not replying sooner but it arrived and some of the photos in there are just fantastic.  Cool

It was this one - Wide Angle: National Geographic Greatest Places. Some lovely images. I have another in the series too - quite inspirational and aspirational smile

Now I want to buy your book along with:

Through the Lens: "National Geographic" Greatest Photographs
The Art of Seeing: The Best of "Reuters" Photography
Don McCullin
In England
Photojournalism: And the Stories Behind Their Greatest Images (World's Top Photographers)

So it's your fault I will no doubt be going even further into debt!

I just got a copy of that for my birthday - it's going to take some time to go through properly, but looks very good so far.

Books arrived today.
Slight problem with them.
I had them delivered to work.
I live over 70 miles away from where I work.
I don't drive.
Public transport is useless.
I don't work that close to a station.
I don't live that close to a station.
They weigh a sodding ton!

For some reason 504 pages and it being a Hardback measuring 26.4 x 25.4 x 4.8 cm and that there would be two of them did not register with me  censored mad oops
