Afternoon,

On the old forums I posted this thread:
http://www.dotdragnet.com/oldforum/index.php?act=ST&f=16&t=34441&s=580642541b0053f24ef6445573c4aaf7

I've still not fixed that pc, but as this (8 year old) PC I am using now is becoming more unreliable, it's about time I got the other one sorted. Unfortunately the links I was given in that thread don't seem to lead to what I need.

I've been digging around on ebay and this is the exact same motherboard as I have: BUT IT'S IN THE USofA  no

So are any of these suitable alternatives;
  THIS ONE?

or THIS ONE?

or Here's another?

Or.....is there anywhere else online I could get one cheaper/better (direct product links appreciated). I can afford £30 ish and would like the best I can get for that!
I'm a total numpty when it comes to hardware (I struggle getting the right batteries to put in my mouse....) so please go easy on the techo side of things!

If your going to do it yourself just remember to take your time, dont touch the connectors and touch a radiator regularly to earth yourself. Depending on your case and how much room you have maybe try and fit the cpu,fan and ram before it goes into the case.
If your not then never mind   smile

Thanks muchly for the advice. I'm not brave enough to fit it myself, so I'm getting someone else to do it for me.  smile
