this has been covered before, but I can't find the threads.

I want to transfer all bookmarks/plugins etc from one machine to another - create a duplicate on the laptop if you like - how do I do that? Where are the files kept?

I've looked in users/appdata/Mozilla/Firefox and can't see anything of use.

This is all on Win Vista btw.

TIA

I copy everything under the profile directory which is currently found (on my computer) at C:\Documents and Settings\SarahG\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\qi1p1p1a.default

This would copyover the extensions too.

Search for bookmarks.html as that'll be in your profiles folder. I have a feeling Vista (sorry just reread and saw Vista mentioned) is annoying for storing it in an obscure place
